South Africa Entrepreneurial Innovators Retreat 2024
February 4-10, 2024
Connect with other likeminded therapists.
Grow your dreams from concept to reality.
Thrive in nature to spark your creativity.
Connect and mentor young South African entrepreneurs.
You are an innovator and sometimes imposter syndrome or limiting beliefs get in your way of success.
You have a creative mind that sees possibilities all around you.
You have a desire to grow and thrive.
You have a desire to reach back and give someone else a hand up in their journey.
This retreat is for you!
This is a unique retreat experience. We will be inviting a group of South African entrepreneurs and innovators to join our training. Many of the participants are young adults who grew up in orphanages or children's homes in South Africa. They are committed to breaking the chains of generational poverty and have great ideas and talent, but struggle with the knowledge of how to take their dreams and turn them into reality.
Creating the practical steps to plan, market and create sustainable profit from our innovative ideas is something most entrepreneurs struggle to find. This retreat will offer training to learn the practical tools needed to go from idea to action. We will work together as a team to support one another's goals and use the collective wisdom of the group to help us each thrive!
We will start our training in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, where we will meet up with our fellow South African entrepreneurs for both training and adventure. Here we will go on a safari, enjoy time playing in the Indian Ocean and spend time at one of the children's homes Jennifer worked with while living in South Africa for 4 years. We will make connections and offer encouragement and support to both the staff and children.
We will then fly to Cape Town, South Africa and continue our training while exploring all the highlights. We will visit: Robben Island (where Nelson Mandela was held as a political prisoner), the Cape of Good Hope, take a cable car up the world famous Table Mountain and relax at Constancia Vineyard.

Presentation Descriptions & Learning Objectives
Dear Fellow Entrepreneur,
My family and I lived in South Africa for 4 years, working with orphaned and vulnerable children. We have been back in the states for 10 years now and, over that time, the kids we formed relationships with have grown up and are launching into adulthood. We are still connected and it has been hard to see many of them struggle to launch.
They have dreams of breaking out of generational poverty. They have amazing talent and ideas but need help with the execution of those dreams, like many of us do. This retreat was started as a heart-mission to help these young adults and my fellow entrepreneurs through mutual learning and mentorship.
Come and give yourself the gift of time to focus on the next evolution in your journey. Seize this opportunity to give intentional space to breathe life into your dreams, connect with other likeminded professionals, enjoy and create in nature, travel and have some fun along the way.
Our coaches will guide you throughout the retreat and will teach and offer coaching in groups and individually throughout the weekend. This is an intentional time of growth and we will be there to help encourage, coach and support you!
Say yes to your dreams. Say yes to going after living your best dang life!

A MIX OF TRAINING, RELAXATION & FUN
This was the first time I've attended a retreat and it was a wildly different experience than larger conferences in the best possible ways. I was able to take alone time to work on my practice building goals, got 1:1 attention from the coaches I had questions for, and found immense value in the breakout sessions because of the opportunity for conversation with other clinicians. Additionally, being able to socialize with the other attendees was FUN! I made friends, networked, got ideas and better focus and I am walking away feeling equipped. This was money well spent, and I am so glad I came!
Even if you're not exactly sure what your dream is, or if you're questioning what exactly it is being an entrepreneur might look like for you - come. This is a whole community of badass, compassionate people. I came in with a lot of uncertainty, doubts and questions about my capabilities. I left with clarity, confidence and real next steps...and new friends.
Kelsi Grove, MA, LPC
As a therapist, we teach self-care, growth, change, and "showing up authentically". Coming to this retreat allowed me to put into practice what I teach, which is priceless. How can I take my clients somewhere that I can't go to or haven't been? Thank you, Jennifer!
Pamela L. Tippit, LPC-S
Thank you for lighting a fire in my soul for putting my business dream from concept to reality. You are a blessing!
