Imagine ending the year sailing through the Caribbean, surrounded by fellow therapists who are committed to healing themselves as deeply as they help their clients.
Using powerful, experiential Inner Child Healing practices, you’ll reconnect with the parts of yourself that may still carry unspoken pain, unmet needs, or limiting beliefs. Whether you’re a therapist, coach, or business owner, these hidden wounds shape how you serve and how you thrive.
This is your opportunity to pause, heal, and realign not just with your professional mission, but with the whole you behind the work.
This training is perfect for you if:
This training is perfect for you if:
✔ You are a therapist interested in integrating EMDR with deeper healing approaches
✔ You feel called to do your own inner work while supporting others
✔ You want CE credits in a meaningful, experiential setting
✔ You crave connection with like-minded clinicians
We will explore how our own invisible wounds show up in the ways we run our businesses, serve our communities, heal and lead.
What makes this training different?
• Experiential inner child healing work
• Integration of EMDR with cultural humility
• Personal healing for helpers and healers
• Community with other mission-driven clinicians
• Professional development in a luxury environment
As culturally humble clinicians, we are not just facilitators of EMDR, we are collaborators in our clients’ healing. And yet, for many therapists, integrating EMDR into clinical practice can feel overwhelming. Most basic trainings fail to equip us with the tools to navigate the nuanced intersections of race, culture, and identity.
That gap can leave even the most committed clinicians feeling unsure about how to proceed.
During our time together, you’ll learn to integrate EMDR and/or other treatment modalities with deeper confidence, cultural awareness and authenticity.
But this journey isn’t only about how you show up for others it’s also about how you show up for yourself.
You’ll return home not only trained but transformed.

Testimonials
This is what some of our guests from our previous cruise had to say.
“The Healing Invisible Wounds retreat was a truly powerful and meaningful experience. The trainings by Yunetta Smith and Jennifer Agee were insightful, grounding, and deeply relevant, both professionally and personally. Learning about trauma, resilience, and our own invisible wounds in such a supportive and beautiful setting made the experience even more impactful. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and more connected to my work as a therapist. This retreat was both healing and enriching and I would highly recommend it! ”
Susan Montalvo, LCSW
“This training experience was a 10/10. The clinicians were thorough and well informed in the areas they were presenting. The cruise setting was a perfect escape from the daily grind and allowed me to fully unplug and focus on recharging and learning. I highly recommended this experience to anyone looking to grow professionally and personally. ”
Melanie Graves, LMFT-S
“This was by far one of the best training opportunities I have taken part in. It is hard to get away for training opportunities and for self-care. This really provided an opportunity for both along with time to reflect, which is really important for me.”
Sandra Piotrowski, LPC
“Yunetta and Jennifer did a wonderful job presenting a complex topic of cultural implications on inner childhood wounds. They were both fun and engaging presenters and they are full of knowledge on the topic. And getting CEs at sea-what’s not to love! ”
Amy Lemke, LMSW, CAADC
“I’ve participated in multiple trainings/retreats/summits organized by Jennifer and each one has been great. She’s focused on making it the best possible experience for participants, both from a professional development perspective and a personal enjoyment one. The locations and speakers/presenters always deliver! Yunetta is a powerhouse presenter and educator. You can literally feel the energy she’s bringing to the learning space. Not all trainers/presenters are created equal!! I’ve walked away from ever single one of my multiple workshops/trainings with Yunetta with gained knowledge and insights. I especially appreciate her integration of cultural humility across multiple identities into her trainings. I already look forward to my next training with her. Thank you both!! 🤗”
Jen King, LCSW
“The retreat was very well planned and presented. I was so inspired by not only the training material but the way we were encouraged to form a mini community during the retreat. Everything felt fresh and also refreshing as the presenters encouraged our own self care, something many of us don’t get to experience often. Loved this retreat and hope to do another with Jennifer! ”
Tammy Stafford, LCSW
“ This was one of the best trainings I had that held my attention and gave me wonderful new techniques to use immediately in my practice.”
Karen Daigneault, LPC
“The leaders of this retreat are a joy to learn from--well-packaged, fresh materials, engaging style, generous with their knowledge and willing to disclose their own questions and challenges. Both made themselves very available to us inside and outside of sessions. I will return.”
Kendra Hovey

“Jennifer and Yunetta put together a fabulous training. I left craving more! I feel like if we lived closer together we would be friends. They are approachable, open, warm and full of information and support. Don't miss an opportunity to connect with these two or anyone in their entourage. :-)”
